"Homage To Ralph Peterson, Jr," was originally written as a light drum exercise for Andy, but when Travis presented his composition to the group the choice was made to dig in deep, and give the drummer who inspired Andy in NYC his credit. Ralph was a legend in the drumming community for nearly his entire career, and this work is a testament to his fiery style and wide influence.

Igor Lumpert particularly shines on this; you can feel the urgency and immediacy of a New York tenor man in his solo. Travis takes the bait and delivers a stunning work of guitar pyrotechnics to answer Lumpert's cannonade. Each player does his best to engage in lifting the band to new heights, and that was what Ralph required of his sidemen and bandmates at all times.
