about

The final cut on our debut album is, in part, a tribute to to the great work and vision of Josh Kaufman, the engineer/producer/mastering tech for this project. Without his experience, tools, expertise, and above-all the wonderful facilities at Local Legend Sound in Grand Rapids, this album would not have been possible.

Travis Swanson wrote several great compositions for this project, but "Clarity In Chaos" might be the most timeless, the most-accessible, and the most-fun to play! His guitar solo is a work of genius and is high art guitar playing at it's most raw, truest form. He was simply playing a Gibson Les Paul '56 reissue (with zero FX pedals!) through a 1972 Fender Twin Reverb Deluxe amp. No overdubs, no effects, just a dude and his guitar.

This song surmises every feeling we've gone through individually and as a group, through 2020 and 2021. We emerged looking for clarity in this chaotic world, a light in the unknown unseeable future. This song is meant to relax and groove you to a new dimension and a better place, as we all look forward to seeing each other again.
